General Information


The 14th of ITU Robot Olympics which is organized by the ITU Control and Automation Club will be held in ITU Ayazağa Campus Süleyman Demirel Cultural Center on 24-25-26-th of March 2022. ITURO aims to gather students, academicians and industrial representatives who work in robotics field by activities and investigate the studies about robotics with lead of the new technological developments.

Every year thousands of students from many different schools and cities compete in ITURO. In ITURO robots compete in total of 10 categories: drone, traffic, construction, color selecting, stair climbing, micro sumo, line following junior, line football, scenerio(logistics) and inovative. The competitors have the chance to show their robots on the tables in the Süleyman Demirel Cultural Center. Seminars, panels and exhibitions are going to be held by students, academicians and industrial representatives about robotics and control studies. These activities which are going to be done simultaneously with the competitions aim to guide the people who study in this field and expand their perspectives.

Purpose of the Organization


  • To inform the participants about the applications and developments in the field of robotics.
  • To support university and high school students with knowledge and experience by conferences and interviews in the field of robotics.
  • To gather people interested in robotics by planned contests.
  • To give the opportunity to high school and university students to get support and guidance for their projects.
  • To create and realize feasible solutions, resulting from the provided efficient work environment during or after the event.
  • To show the knowledge and desire for study in the field of robotics of ITU students to students, academicians and industrial companies worldwide, and become an example for other universities in Turkey.
  • To develop communications between students, academicians and industrial companies interested in field of robotics.
